Last updated: March 14, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Moonwatch, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Moonwatch is a log aggregation and analysis platform. We provide tools for collecting, storing, querying, and analyzing application logs through a web dashboard, ingestion APIs, and AI-powered analysis via MCP.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use Moonwatch. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Send log data containing sensitive personal information (e.g., passwords, credit card numbers, social security numbers)
  • Attempt to circumvent quota limits or access controls
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the service

5. Quotas and Limits

Free tier accounts are subject to a 5GB storage quota. When auto-eviction is enabled, older data may be automatically removed to stay within quota limits. We reserve the right to modify quota limits with reasonable notice.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all log data you send to Moonwatch. We do not claim any rights to your data. We store and process your data solely to provide the service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

8. Limitation of Liability

Moonwatch is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

10. Refund Policy

Paid subscriptions are billed through our authorized reseller, Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

You have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at [email protected] before the 14-day period expires. We will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision to cancel, using the same payment method as the original transaction. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

This cancellation right applies following the initial subscription purchase and does not apply upon each automatic renewal. It also does not apply to digital content you have already started to download, stream, or otherwise access.

There are no refunds on unused subscription periods. You may cancel your subscription at any time at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period to prevent future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the next payment date.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
